Greentech Unveils Circalys

Busy lifestyle habits can disrupt natural circadian rhythms, leading to tired skin and impacting mood.
 
Aware of these important repercussions, Greentech created Circalys, a potent active ingredient titrated in andrographolide, a molecule identified by Greentech scientists to counteract circadian disruption and revitalize skin. Inspired by Ayurveda, Circalys was developed from Green Chiretta (Andrographis paniculata), a major detoxifying plant in Ayurvedic traditional medicine.
 
Circalys modulates skin rhythms, by restoring a “young” invigorating clock gene expression profile in old/tired skin cells and by acting on circadian modulators related to key cellular pathways. It extends cell longevity and reduces cell damages, promoting skin revitalization.
 
Circalys also stimulates key signaling pathways connecting skin and the brain, also influenced by circadian clock. It boosts oxytocin, endocannabinoid and endorphin signaling pathways to relax and protect skin from modern life impacts.
 
Tested on night/shift workers during 28 days in a double blind clinical study, Circalys significantly reduced visible signs of fatigue: Eye bags, dark circles and under-eye wrinkles. Volunteers also found their skin more radiant, comfortable and rested.
 
Thanks to three scientifically recognized psychological tests, the use of Circalys in a cosmetic formula was also proven to significantly modulate the impacts of fatigue on mood, resulting in a boosted feeling of well-being and reduced perceived stress.
